A Summary of the Colonization and Occupation Soldiers Violations During November 2019
The report documents the most significant assaults committed by the occupation and the colonizers against the Palestinians and their property, along with the colonizers assaults against the Palestinian lands during November 2019. The assaults reached to almost 2700 against the Palestinian people, their lands and property. The information included in the report are based on various sources, notably the Palestinian Monitoring Group of the Department of Negotiation in the Palestinian Liberation Organization “PLO” and We Watch Israel Violation “WEWIV”.

Martyrs and Injured
During last November, 42 Palestinian martyrs were killed by the occupation ,37 of which are from the Gaza Strip especially after the “Israeli” escalation against the Gaza Strip and conducting several air raids on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. In the West Bank, 5 Palestinians were killed, including a prisoner Sami Abu Diyak.
As for the number of injures during the same month, it reached to 369 injured, most of which are in the Gaza Strip due to the military escalation and intense shelling of Gaza for several days. The injured in the Gaza Strip were 286, while in the West Bank 82, among the injured 12 children and 1 journalist.
Detention, Arrests and Evection from Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque
During last November the number of detentions reached to 334, most of which are from the governorates of the West Bank with 328, while 6 cases of detentions in the Gaza Strip. Amongst the detentions there is one child and 6 university students and a journalist. The people of Jerusalem were the most of detention with 15 cases, then Hebron 71 cases, 21 detentions in all of the governorates of the West Bank. Amongst them is the governor of Jerusalem and a child.
As for the eviction cases from the city of Jerusalem or Al-Aqsa Mosque, 7 Palestinians evicted, two of them from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 3 months. Moreover, a new method of eviction is used this month is the eviction from the city center and the area Damascus Gate. It happened with two cases. In addition to the eviction from the neighborhoods of Jerusalem, some civilians were evicted from Alissawiyeh village and another civilian from the village of Silwan.
Establishing Military Checkpoints, Raids and Shooting
During the month of last November, the occupation established 340 sudden military checkpoints in the governorates of the West Bank to hinder the life of the civilians and their mobility. The most of which were in Bethlehem ,86 military checkpoints, then Hebron 70 military checkpoints then Qalqiylia 41 military checkpoints.
The occupation conducted 475 raids of Palestinian living quarters, 471 of which were in the governorates of the West Bank. Most of these raids were in the governorate of Hebron almost 76 raid, then Ramallah and Al-Bireh 58 raids. As for the raids in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, they conducted in the agricultural lands on the borders 7 raids during last October.
As for shooting executed by the occupation soldiers during last November, they reached to 449 cases, which mean more than the double of the last month which reached to 216 cases. Most of the shooting during last month were in the Gaza Strip 276, also through the naval boats. In the West Bank, 160 case of shooting happened during the raid of the Palestinian areas or through the military checkpoints.
Demolitions, Raze of Lands, and Confiscation of the Palestinian Property
The occupation executed 25 of demolishing of the Palestinian homes and facilities during the month of November. This is double of what happened during October (13 cases). 21 houses demolished and 4 residential tents. Among the 21 houses, 2 are under construction. The occupation demolished Palestinian houses claiming that they are either unauthorized constructions. 4 of the houses are for prisoners in the occupation prisons. The demolitions also targeted a wide range of the houses in different governorates of the West Bank, such as Jericho, Northern Jordan Valley, Jerusalem, Nablus and Hebron.
The occupation confiscated the Palestinian civilians’ property in 21 times, such as special property during raids, confiscation of camera records of Palestinian cars and magazines. In addition, property damage 37, such as damaging the furniture, cars and rooting out the olive trees.
The Assault of the Holy Places:
The occupation assaults of the holy places during last November reached to 23 assaults. The most significant was attacking the area of Al-Aqsa Mosque, executing provoking tours by the colonizers. The occupation forces also arrested the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and confiscating their keys, in addition to arresting the teachers of the Islamic Orphan School inside the mosque. The Ibrahimi Mosque (Tomb of the Patriarchs) is also invaded from time to time by the occupation; to celebrate their holidays, they evacuate the holy sites from Palestinians and block the road leading to it for them.
Colonial Activities
The most significant colonial activities executed by the occupation during last November:
November 3rd , 2019:the occupation started constructing new colonial road 7 km. It starts from crossroad of Kfar Etzion colony in Hebron through a close area to Alaroub refugee camp reaching Alnabi Younes near the northern entrance of Halhoul.
November 5th, 2019: the government of the occupation certified the light rail train, which connects the neighborhood of Mount Olives with the Wailing Wall.
November 5th, 2019: the occupation forces confiscated 60 donums of the village of Faqqua I Jinin Governorate for military executions.
November 14th, 2019: the occupation confiscated 228 donums of Dierestia village in Salfit under security executions.
November 17th, 2019: the occupation issued an order to expand the period of confiscating 178 donums of the people in Dierestia, Alzaweiah, Dierbalout, Eskaka in Salfit until 2022 for security and colonial claims.
- Novmebr 25th, 2019: the occupation issued an order to construct 251 new settlements in south Bethlehem near Gush Etzion and Kfar Eldad settlements.
The colonizers Assaults:
During last November, the assaults executed by the colonizers reached to 63 in different governorates of the West Bank. This means the double in comparison with last October. Following are the major assaults:
November 3rd, 2019: the colonizers of “Elie” colony stole the olive harvest of the agricultural lands of Qaryout village and hindered the Palestinians to reach their lands.
November 3rd, 2019: a colonizer ran over a Palestinian female near Efrat colony in Bethlehem, which resulted in bruises.
November 4th, 2019: the colonizers stole the harvest of 900 olive trees of the lands of Al Lubban ash Sharqiya in the south of Nablus.
November 7th, 2019: the colonizers hit a Palestinian civilian in the face while throwing stones towards the vehicles of the civilians near Almoghayer village in the governorate of Ramallah and Al-Bireh
November 7th, 2019: the colonizers hit a Palestinian civilian in the north of Jordan Valley while he was working in his farm.
November 8th, 2019: the colonizers damaged frames of 20 vehicles of Palestinian in Hizma east of Jerusalem. They wrote hatred expressions to Arabs.
November 10th, 2019: the colonizers cut 58 olive trees of Yasouf and Alzawiyah villages in Nablus.
November 11th, 2019: the colonizers stole about 1000 kg of the olive harvest. They also attacked the farms in Kufur Qadom in Qalqiyliah.
November 16th, 2019: the colonizers violently beat a Palestinian civilian while storming the lands of Alkhadir village in Bethelehem.
November 21st, 2019: the colonizers burned almost 100 olive trees in the occupied lands of Humish colony south of Jenin.
November 22nd, 2019: the colonizers attacked the Palestinian civilians in Alja’bari neighborhood in the old city of Hebron. This resulted in 8 injuries with bruises because of beaten and suffocation due to the use of pepper spray.
November 22nd, 2019: the colonizers of Koriyat Arba’ attacked a Palestinian civilian, which led to bruises.
November 29th, 2019: the colonizers of Rahalim cut 20 olive trees in Al Wad near Sosiyah south Nablus.
